Places with interesting names !

Just when you start thinking that South Park is the funniest thing on earth, God gives you more. I mean this is not that funny, but it will pop your eyeballs for sure. In one of my erratic searches on google and wikipedia to maintain a healthy level of insanity my interest was aroused by a list of places with unusual or interesting names.

Now this is no ordinary list and when it says unusual, how far can you stretch your imagination to think of a really unusual name? At first I couldn’t believe, I thought that this was a prank by someone. But then you don’t have pranks on Wikipedia! And even if there are any they are edited faster than anyone is able to see them. And then the reality started sinking. That there are places with such names!!

There are people who say “I stay in Fucking” when you ask them where you do stay!!
There are people who say “
I stay in Dildo” when you ask them where you do stay!!
That there is a place called
“Boring”
That there is a place called “
Shag Point” in New Zealand!
That you can stay in a place called “
Truth or Consequences” in Mexico

(Obviously, names of places which arouse interest, specially those related to sex have been featured here. For the full article go here)

PS : Do check out the cool "AK" logo in the address bar on the top.

Well...sometimes there r "crack-me-up" names which are language dependant too..

Imagine the look on my face during a meeting when the swedish high commisioner in canada proudly told me he had a Phd from "Lund" University...:-)

Dint know where else to reply !!

Metallica was also my first band that I feel in love with totally.

Death, aint very popular and not available that easily too I guess. They released 6 albums; the first two were kinda gore.

Although all of them were master pieces, their last one "Sounds was Perseverance" is unmatchable. Try to get that album through some peer to peer client, I dont think you can get them through direct downloads. Also you may want to listen to another album of theirs; "Symbolic".

If you have been a metal/death metal fan since 7-8 years; you are incompelte without Chuck ;)

The sounds of perseverance album also has a cover of the song "painkiller" by Judas priest which is really awesome.

i agree- the sound of perseverance was one of the most awesome death albums of all time.
2 other classics i would reccommend to anyone would be 'swansong' - the most kickass album by carcass and pretty much any album by kreator.
aalekh , update the damn blog.
